Barbara Antonelli - Still Evening

In this series of works, Barbara Antonelli, a painter originally from Cesena who lives and works in Florence, turns her gaze to nature, and vegetation in particular. For this artist, the shapes of plants, their colors, and the lanceolate patterns of their leaves become elements of a pure and immediate aesthetic. Her interpretation of nature, in fact, moves toward an almost hyperrealist rendering, enlivened, however, by a profoundly lyrical interpretation. A subtle dialectic is created between the perfection of the details and a subtly painterly touch that lends warmth and poetry to those intertwining lines and colors.
