The iconography of motherhood is closely linked to the subject of the Madonna and Child. It is probably one of the most popular iconographies in the history of both Western and Eastern art. Camillo Fait is an artist born in Milan in 1935, where he lives and works. He initially trained under Aligi Sassu as a sculptor and ceramist, later moving on to graphic design. Only after attending the Augusto Colombo art school did he fully dedicate himself to painting. He has participated in numerous exhibitions and events, including those held internationally, receiving acclaim and recognition. His works are held in public and private collections in Italy, Finland, Portugal, the Netherlands, France, and Germany.
