The work includes: the Latin text of the Song of Songs from the Bible known as the Nova Vulgata Bibliorum Sacrorum editio, the Italian text of the Song of Songs from the CEI Bible, Alcuin's Commentary on the Song of Songs in the original Latin, the critical edition, the Italian translation of the text and the foreword by Rossana Eugenia Guglielmetti, the letter to the reader by Flaminio Gualdoni, eight poetic interludes by Edoardo Sanguineti, eight color plates outside the text, and sixteen single-color illustrations in the text based on original drawings created specifically for this edition by the maestro Ugo Nespolo.

>Paper: The volume Cantico dei Cantici was produced exclusively in a limited edition on fine Velin Arches 100% cotton paper, 190g and 300g, from Cartiere d'Arches produced with a particular exclusive formula designed for artistic publishing.

Format: The volume Cantico dei Cantici measures 42.5 x 28 x 7.5 cm, each copy is numbered and signed by the master Nespolo corresponding to the descriptive colophon of the work and is contained in an elegant plexiglass box made to an exclusive design.

>Bound: The stitching and binding of the volume in drum-dyed calfskin in blue, with five ribs and hot gold inscriptions on the spine, they were made using the manual process by the bookbindery L'Arte del Libro of Todi.

>Artwork: The cover of the volume features an example of Ugo Nespolo's "Lo Strappacuori," an original enamel work in fifteen colors on a 39x20 cm brass plate, covered in 24k gold, produced using an exclusive process at the Stabilimento Artistico GDE Licensee Bertoni in a limited edition. Each copy of "Lo Strappacuori" bears the artist's number and signature and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and provenance.

>Printer: The eight plates outside the text were printed using silkscreen technique on high-quality Velin Arches 100% cotton paper, 300 g, at the L'Incisione Art Print Shop in Corbetta.
