He was already present in the art world by 1939, and in 1948 and 1952 he was involved in the Rome Quadrennial. He was a Ligurian representative of a flourishing school of artists such as Eso Peluzzi, Mario Bonilauri, Lino Berzoini, Ivos Pacetti, Mario Raimondi, and Emanuele Martinengo. Among his most famous exhibitions are the 1947 National Painting Exhibition, Bellagio Prize; the 1st National Exhibition, Prato Prize; the Sea Exhibition in San Remo; and from 1947 to 1953, the Suzzara Prize; 1952 and 1958 V and VI National Quadrennial of Rome; 1948 San Remo Painting Prize; from 1948 to 1953 at the National Exhibition of Turin; II Abruzzo Biennial of Giulianova; III National Exhibition of Contemporary Art of Alessandria; 1949 Siena Prize; I Tour of Contemporary Painting; 1951 III National Painting Prize Gulf of La Spezia; 1952 I International Exhibition of Maritime Art of Genoa; 1952 I National Art Exhibition of Trieste; 1953 II National Prize for Contemporary Painting of Noceto. In addition to numerous awards and exhibitions in international cities such as Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Cordoba, Rosario, and Montevideo.
