Gianmaria Ciferri is an artist originally from Sondrio, where he was born in 1925. He trained at the Academy of Brescia under the guidance of Professor Rizzi and frequented by figures such as Botticini, Ragni, and Ghelfi. His artistic career developed especially in the postwar period, primarily as an illustrator of schoolbooks, but also as a painter. His artistic language, both in painting and in his graphic works, is significantly influenced by the various facets of the Art Nouveau style.
