Description of the work
Description of the work
The Venus of Urbino is a painting by Titian Vecellio created around 1538 and is preserved in the Uffizi Gallery.
The style of painter Ciro De Michele is founded, first and foremost, on a very solid drawing structure. In all of his works, we find a marked linearity with which he constructs the perfect volumes of the subjects appearing in the painting. There is a profound rational and geometric sense for form and composition. Color then intervenes, filling the harmonious framework of the painting with life, with its subtle tonal transitions and luminous hues.
Ciro De Michele is a painter born in Naples in 1919. He has a very classical conception of painting. He is an artist gifted with an extraordinary drawing technique that expresses his sense of volume and a perfect naturalistic rendering.
