Claudia Clemente - Siren

A true Bagherian. I was born in Bagheria, in the home of my parents, the sculptor Gaetano Clemente, and Rosalia Coglitore, daughter of one of the city's first photographers.

I had no “escape” I grew up among the wood shavings of statues and carts, the photographic images on the

glass plates from the Certosa and Villa Valguarnera and the drawings from the art school of Aunt Carolina, the only one

my father's sister who attended art high school in the 50s.

Undertake artistic studies and try to bring the teachings and passion into everyday life

More than expected. I've been painting practically all my life, using any technique and on any medium, participating in group art exhibitions (themed, competitive, and even impromptu), winning numerous prizes, both in cash and in contracts for the commercialization of my works. I've had five solo exhibitions and am preparing my new series of works for the sixth.

Since 2007 I have been the president of a non-profit association that organizes shows and films

from production to distribution and courses to transmit a 360-degree passion for art to students aged 4 to 80.

Set designer, costume designer, graphic designer and any other activity that allows me to express creativity and colors.

For years, I have dedicated myself full-time with a friend/artist to the creation of works that represent our tradition and culture with a vision beyond, under the CLARO brand.
