We are faced with a still life. Still lifes allow the artist to create their own compositions of inanimate objects, which they can then depict according to their poetic nature. They range from more or less orderly compositions to realistic depictions to almost abstract ones. In this case, we can see how the artist uses the canonical objects for creation: a plate of fruit, a bottle, a book, and two jars.

The painting is created with a very light touch. The painter manages to create a light and airy overall scene. We can describe the painting as foamy, as there are delicate modulations of color applied, creating parallel lines and then others running in opposite directions. The overall composition is harmonious; all the objects depicted are placed at the center of the table, as if they had been arranged there specifically for the purpose of studying the composition.

For us, Danti remains an anonymous artist. Although there are many painters with the same surname, there is no evidence of this in their signature or painting style. Despite this, we can argue that Danti was a painter active in the second half of the twentieth century, based on the analytical yet essential style with which he created his work.
