Dè Suè - Misanthropy

I always kept the child inside me hidden, letting her free in joy and lightheartedness, only a few times, giving her to those who truly knew me well. Then I stopped. I kept her prisoner, chained, depriving her of being, feeling, perceiving. In her place I placed an adult who couldn't fully comprehend joy, sharing, freedom, love, and trust.

The little girl inside has managed to free herself, expressing her whole world, now she travels serenely, knowing that the adult is always with her, full of love and gratitude.

It was born on an October evening, in complete solitude, born from the desire of the little girl inside to escape from the cage, born from the desire to share that for every dark circumstance or event, there exists its exact opposite. It is in the utter darkness of misanthropy that I recognized the light within myself and in everything.
