Dino Pelagatti - Fishermen

Dino Pelagatti was born in Livorno in 1932. Passionate about color and painting since childhood, in the 1960s he decided to devote himself fully to his art, becoming a professional artist. Although initially influenced by the Tuscan "macchia," his style evolved, contributing to the renewal of Livorno's "second twentieth-century" movement. Pelagatti remained faithful to figurative art, exploring a wide range of subjects, from human figures to marine life. His works, characterized by a confident technique and vibrant color schemes, convey vibrant emotions and a deep sense of connection. The artist passed away in 2016.
