Biography: Donatella Venanzetti, known artistically as Dodi Cleofe, was born in Tolentino (MC) and has been painting since childhood. At just ten years old, she entered her first painting competition in Boleto (NO), signing her works as "Dodi." Since then, her creativity has undergone alternating phases, intertwining painting, poetry, and imagination, until she found a new direction after a traumatic experience that transformed her relationship with art. At that moment, painting became not just an expression, but an authentic language, capable of expressing profound emotions and transforming pain into rebirth. Thus was born the artistic name Dodi Cleofe, chosen in honor of her paternal grandmother, a symbol of healing, change, and courage, as well as her third name. Each work becomes an act of healing, an invitation to confront the emotions we are often ashamed to show, especially those of women, and a path to freedom and awareness. Dodi's canvases are distinguished by their intense, luminous colors—pink, blue, green—and by contrasts that lend depth and movement. Recurring symbols such as the heart and the grid represent fragility and strength, chaos and order, emotion and control. Alongside his artistic career, Dodi is about to embark on a three-year course in art therapy, aiming to transform art into a tangible tool for well-being and help for others.
