Erminio Girardo was born in Milan in 1924. He began to cultivate his passion for painting at a young age. He lived for many years in the Fermo area, and the landscapes of the Marche region are often the subject of his paintings. Erminio Girardo is distinguished by his simple and direct style, which embodies a genuinely realistic conception of art. In his work, sensory elements are not idealized but are reproduced as they are in reality. For this reason, his figurative language draws on life-like reproductions but is distinguished by a certain impressionistic style that brings vivacity and immediacy to his representations. Erminio Girardo passed away in 2019.
