Description of the work
Description of the work
Federica Bortolin is a self-taught painter. She rediscovered the pleasure of painting after a long period of "slumber." Federica loves people, faces, and their myriad facets. She seeks to reveal the truth through detailed analysis of expressions and postures, in all the splendor of human nature. She loves to depict scenes of everyday life, historical figures, mythological subjects, and the faces of people close to her. She is particularly drawn to Caravaggio and those themes that inspire reflection on a profound moral sense, on beauty, but also on the extreme transience of earthly life. She creates paintings on commission . Federica participates in the art exhibition First International PitturiAmo Prize (Brunelleschi International Prize), held at Palazzo Ximènes Panciatichi, Florence , from 19 to 21 January 2018. Work exhibited: " Lady with an Ermine ". Limited edition personalized art catalogs edited by EA Editore.
