This work features a woman with a newborn baby. This woman represents the Madonna with Jesus still in swaddling clothes. It's a painting inspired by Motherhood, as the entire image is contained within a womb. I poured numerous colors to represent the various intertwinings centered on life. In this technique, I used acrylic paints, glue, and retardant because they bring out a unique sheen. I love this technique because it represents me so well and because I can manipulate it as I wish, leaving me ample scope for freedom. Naturally, photos don't convey the beauty of these works, as they take on varied and new reflections as you expose them to light. These works, in their abstract nature and combined with appropriate colors, seek to convey a profound and intimate vision to the viewer.
