As befits a creative measure of a purely expressionistic nature, the process of sign-realization ensures the creative practice's correspondence to a need for truth that alerts the viewer to an epistemic commitment that is not fulfilled in the mere "objective" data of the work, but in the fruitful participation that serves to broaden the artist's horizons to the point of endowing the work with a capacity far broader and more challenging than merely descriptive. We could define this painting as a "content" painting, a broad and problematic manifestation of experiential scores, where the human subject is not justified in the historical panorama as the protagonist of an eventual event over which he can be considered the absolute and disposing controller, but, on the contrary, a creature, a weak and exposed subject, dramatically subjected to the perils of an inscrutable and obscure destiny in its unperceivable improbability. A powerful painting, therefore, a convincing one, robustly suited to the organic description of life's experiences.
