Franco Marra is a painter who lives and works in Empoli, born in 1956. His work is distinguished by an original personal style that combines landscape painting with a penchant for abstract and informal art. Marra begins with a vision of reality, elements of which can be identified in his canvases, but everything is transfigured into a gestural execution, full of signs and symbolic meanings.
