Landscape has always been a central theme in artistic research, both as a setting, as a backdrop, and as a subject itself. The naturalistic depiction of landscape has been a major aspiration for artists of every era. Gennaro Arnucci was born in Naples in 1947, where he currently lives and works. He is a realist and impressionist painter with a broad chromatic base. His subjects follow the Campanian landscape tradition, primarily depicting farmhouses, both inland and coastal. Both local and national newspapers have written about his work, and his works are included in numerous collections.
