In 2007, the meeting with the director Franco Di Matteo gave birth to a collaboration that led to the creation of the costumes for the film Carne di capra, a project sponsored by

by the Municipality of Rome, but remained unfinished. Between 2013 and 2014, the reenactment of the cast took shape in a pictorial sky that immortalized on canvas some of the characters among them

including the faces of actresses Jole Rosa and Anita Auer, but also that of the great Vinicio Diamanti.

Gianluca Venezia was born in Anzio in 1967 and lives and works in Nettuno. His research has focused primarily on portraiture, of which he is considered a true master. Indeed, in Venezia's portraits, we can sense the full expressive power and modernity of an intense interpretation of the subject, rich with contemporary influences. This painter's work perfectly blends an almost photographic rendering of physiognomy with the presence of strong existential vibrations. Venezia's style, in fact, is both precise in capturing the subject and complex in a dynamic and lively manner.
