Giandomenico Palazzo is an artist who lives and works in Matera. His long career has been marked by numerous exhibitions and events, garnering critical and public acclaim. His work has previously focused on experimental and expressionist art forms. More recently, however, his artistic language has returned to a classical inspiration in the exaltation of the human body. It is represented in all its muscular and anatomical possibilities, thanks in part to its placement within a rational space. Palazzo's exaltation of the human body can lead to paroxysms of impossible positions and movements, and anatomical deformations.
