Gianni Visentin was a Venetian sculptor born in Tra Vettore di Rosà in 1938 and who passed away in 2010. A stay in Paris between the mid-1960s and the late 1970s was crucial to his artistic development, allowing him to come into contact with avant-garde art circles and movements. In 1997, he founded the Arte Positiva movement, which found its home in his studio-museum in Carpanè, where many of the artist's works are collected. Some of Visentin's works have been donated to illustrious figures such as John Paul II, Ronald Reagan, George Bush, and Mikhail Gorbachev.
