Different objects overlap in an extremely complex space, heavily influenced by Cubist exploration, constructed on multiple directions and viewpoints. Within these multidimensional boxes, the architectural elements break down and open up onto the plane, giving rise to complex compositions. Furthermore, the rendering, from a formal standpoint, tends to be abstract and synthetic, to the point of bordering on the informal, in some cases.

Giorgio Bonaffini was born in Curtatone in 1921 and died in Mantua in 1996. His artistic production is focused on an in-depth study and interest in architecture, which returns in his works in a modern and original recontextualization.
