He can be considered a representative of the Cesena school of painting that, led by Alberto Sughi, placed the everyday life of existence at the center of its research, transfigured into a complex existential guise. His career, like Sughi's, developed primarily in Milan, where he gained national recognition with a large number of exhibitions.
