Born in Marmirolo Born in 1900, Giulio Falzoni was an Italian painter, a leading representative of the Italian figurative school. He trained in Florence in 1928, where he attended the Academy of Fine Arts, specializing in watercolor. In 1939, he held his first solo exhibition in Mantua, followed by Florence, Padua, Prato, Naples, Venice, and Milan. In the late 1940s, he specialized at the Royal Watercolor Society in London, a city of which he left us evocative views. In 1947, he participated in the Mostra d'Arte Mantovana at the Palazzo della Ragione in Mantua during the Mantua Art Fair. His exhibitions have been held in the United States, England, and France. His paintings are held in numerous collections, including the Uffizi Gallery and the Capitoline Museums.
