The human figure has always been at the center of artistic research. Since the classical age, the naturalistic rendering of human anatomy has been a primary goal of painters and sculptors throughout history. Giuseppe Marinucci was born in 1925 in Ascoli Piceno and passed away in 1981. He was initially self-taught, then attended Ghino Sassetti's school at the Academy of Urbino. Throughout his career, he received numerous awards, including the gold medal from the International Committee for Culture. His works are exhibited in various collections, not only in Italy but also abroad (Galleria Moderna a Palazzo Braschi, Rome; Museo Pa-Uiis, Paris; Gallery Ford, New York; Church of Martinsicuro, Teramo; International Directory of Arts, Berlin).
