The term "Morano" technique refers to a painting process that takes its name from its inventor, Maestro Giuseppe Morano. This process uses only "dry" materials such as pastels, powders, earths and anything that can add colour to a rigid support, necessary for the particular and innovative technique of applying the colours themselves. The application is done using rags and brushes with bristles cut as needed, of different sizes and cuts. The pressure applied with these tools, which is needed to achieve the various color tones, requires a rigid support. The "Morano" technique, defined by its creator himself as the "arrangement technique," aims to be a foundation, a starting point, but also a philosophy.
