Description: In Christian symbolism, the representation of JESUS ​​CHRIST is symbolized in the animal version with THE KING OF THE FOREST, the LION. The African forest is creation with its animals that inhabit it. In the distance, at the setting of an EVOCATIVE AFRICAN SUNSET, a herd of zebras with a giraffe can be glimpsed, while birds fly in the sky. The TREE OF LIFE with its meaning: LIFE is represented by the 3 elements that make up the TREE, each of which represents an aspect OF LIFE itself. ROOTS, to be solid, must go deep. TRUNK, solid and resistant, supported by numerous branches. FRUITS, abundant only during one period of the year, and therefore precious (to give greater depth to the symbolism, the leaves, branches, and trunk are deliberately made gold, with topaz stones in the branches representing the abundant fruit). Gloria De Marco is a painter originally from Chivasso, but lives and works in Florence.
