Grazia Badari - SEA OF GRASS

Grazia Badari is an artist originally from Luzzara. She teaches portraiture and painting classes and is also an expert in ancient engravings. Her research moves toward an informal style, in which the pictorial material, and more (sometimes the paint is mixed with ash for even greater consistency), takes center stage. Grazia Badari's gesture, therefore, is powerfully structural: her lines, spirals, and marks seek depth in space. In this way, the painter's gestures come to life on the canvas itself, constructing complex systems of overlapping layers. This is further emphasized by the color, distributed according to a calculated balance of references and dissonances that ensure the unity of the work.
