Halki

This work is part of the preparatory cycle for the exhibition "Viaggio nell'Anima" (Journey into the Soul), held at the Santa Maria della Scala Museum Complex in Siena in 2021 and published in the catalog of the same name. The artist takes us on his imaginary and real journey to the Greek island of Halki, where he expresses his deep love for the sea in a kaleidoscope of emotions. The highly textured technique typical of this pictorial cycle draws the viewer in and compels them to touch the surface.
