Hanuman

This work, part of the India cycle, is an imaginary bridge to the artist's previous personal experience, "Journey into the Soul," held in 2021 at the Santa Maria della Scala Museum in Siena. Hanuman is an Indian deity with the features of a monkey, very positive and loyal but also strong and ruthless. He is a prominent figure in the Ramayana poem. The tension and confident lines express the character's typical strength, and his actions are resolved through the depth of his layers and color.
