The unstretched canvas features a 3cm horizontal cut on the right side, which was present before the work was created. Cuts, tears, and imperfections in the support are the wounds and scars that lead back to the Fragments. Here, they have recreated the image of a forest (a pine forest?) in flames. Fire, one of the characters interpreting climate change, a fire that can be a friend if well-managed, or one that can destroy. The ambivalence is entrusted to the viewer's eye so that they can place their own suggestions in the work and also ask themselves: is there some other presence in the image?
