The edition includes an anthology of John Paul II's numerous speeches on the Magisterium of the social doctrine of the Catholic Church, edited by His Excellency Monsignor Giampaolo Crepaldi, who also wrote the introduction, a preface by His Excellency Cardinal Carlo Caffarra, Archbishop of Bologna, and a plate outside the text entitled "Studies of Medals, " created exclusively by the master Alina Kalczynska . > Plates: The plate outside the text was created using the litho-serigraphic technique on high-quality cotton paper, 250 g, at the Squadro art printing house in Bologna.
>Format: The volume Homo Via Ecclesiae has dimensions 28 x 43.5 x 7.2 cm and is numbered corresponding to the descriptive colophon of the work.
>Bound: The stitching, binding, and cover of the volume, in natural parchment with gold inscriptions, were created using an ancient manual process at the L'Arte del Libro bookbindery in Todi.
>Iconography: Each volume is embellished on the front cover with an example of the work Veritas Libertas Ivstitia and, on the back cover, with an example of the work Pax , original bas-relief sculptures in 925‰ silver, 100 mm in diameter, by master Alina Kalczynska, minted by the Senesi artistic workshop in Pognano. Each example of the works Veritas Libertas Ivstitia and Pax bears the author's number and signature and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and provenance.
Colophon: The volume Homo Via Ecclesiae was produced in an exclusive limited edition.
>Paper: The high-quality 160g cotton paper, embellished with the papal watermark created especially for this edition, was made in a round shape at the Cartiere d'Arches in France.
>Printer: The text, set with Bodonian characters in 14, 18 and 36 point sizes, was printed at the Stamperia Valdonega in Arbizzano.
