Impulsive gestures are the basis of this work; I let myself be guided by the gesture and the emotion of the moment, without any rational premeditation.
Overshadowing the vivid colors is a thin veil of gold dust: an ethereal patina that simultaneously softens and enhances the underlying colors, giving the work an aura suspended in time.
