Italy of Faith. The Church of the Patron Saints - Fmr Art'è

The volume opens with a presentation by Marilena Ferrari, followed by an introductory essay by Monsignor Ernesto Vecchi, Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus of Bologna, while each chapter opens with a brief biography of the Saint and a presentation of the place dedicated to him. The more than 200 photographs, taken by Italy's leading photographers, were processed in photolithography at Modesto Rigoldi's laboratory in Milan and printed in four colors with special inks at Lamberto Pigini's printing house in Loreto. The texts, set in Bembo type, were printed on the same paper. The stitching, the binding with gold lettering on the four-ribbed spine, the gold embossing on the cover plates, and the book's barrel-dyed blue leather covering, created specifically for this edition, were all carried out at L'Arte del Libro in Todi. The volume, consisting of over 400 pages, measures 31 x 43.5 x 6.4 cm when closed, is contained in an elegant slipcase made to an exclusive design and bears, next to the descriptive colophon, the copy number and the autograph signature of Marilena Ferrari.
