Jan Koralberg - 4th Dimension

Part of the study of matter and the interaction between light, particles, and cosmic events, this abstract brass work focuses on the theme of relativity and the relationship between space and time. In ordinary space, a position is defined by three numbers, known as dimensions. A position in space and time is called an event and requires four numbers: the three-dimensional position in ordinary space, plus the position in time. The four-dimensionality, despite being a concept of quantum physics, becomes overwhelming in everyday life: "being in the right place at the right time" sums up its essence.

Jan Koralberg's work began in 2009, when he developed and patented the Pure Metal Art technique. However, Koralberg only made his work public in 2017, and in a very short time, he received considerable critical and public acclaim. His work is held in collections around the world (Europe, Asia, and the USA), and he has exhibited in major shows in cities such as New York and Moscow.
