Jubilaeum 1300-2000 - Scrinium

Produced in an extremely limited edition and handcrafted by master craftsmen in the Vatican Archives, the gold seals and bulls of Boniface VIII and His Holiness John Paul II encompass 700 years of our great history. The first part of this volume presents a critical edition of the bull of Boniface VIII proclaiming the Jubilee of 1300, based on the two originals in the Vatican Apostolic Library and later copies, with appropriate textual notes. The text of the bull is preceded by brief summaries in Latin, Italian, French, German, and Spanish. The second part contains an edition of the bull of John Paul II, in the same form as the original document.
