Description of the work
Description of the work
Landscape has always been a central theme in artistic research, both as a setting, as a backdrop, and as a subject itself. The naturalistic depiction of landscape has been an artist's aspiration throughout the centuries. Each historical period has offered its own interpretation of landscape, contributing to the evolution of its depiction: first with an exploration of space, through Brunelleschi's perspective in the early Renaissance, then with atmospheric rendering in the sixteenth century, up until the depiction of every single vibration of light on objects in Impressionism.
An artist with a highly experimental nature, tending toward abstraction, Kspersee's execution of this work seems to reflect a desire to create an expressionist landscape. Reality is interpreted in an extremely synthetic manner, with an almost brutal reduction, resulting in an abstract composition. The surface is completely two-dimensional, with no concessions to spatial depth. A key aspect is the choice of a saturated color, with almost fluorescent tones, which emerges like a veritable explosion from the black space. The evocative impact of the composition is thus achieved in a truly original interpretation of the landscape subject.
Kspersee was born in 1978 in Aubagne, France, to a family of artists. He was immersed in art from early childhood, taking painting, drawing, and violin classes, devoting himself to fine arts. Kspersee has been painting for twenty years and began exhibiting in 1995 in Armenia, Yerevan, Abovian, and Russia. He has also participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in France.
Kspersee captures unique atmospheres and emotions, often constantly searching for creativity, drawing inspiration from her sojourns in Asia and Europe. Her choice of subjects and attention to detail convey a sense of joy that shines through in each of her works.
