St. Peter's Basilica - Fmr Art'è

Volume published by FMR dedicated to St. Peter's Basilica.

The work, edited by Monsignor Pasquale Iacobone, contains high-level scholarly essays accompanying a series of photographic visions by one of the greatest international art photographers, Aurelio Amendola. The work not only documents the artworks adorning the basilica, but also represents its essence as a total work of art, encompassing architecture, sculpture, painting, mosaics, and decoration.

The preface is by His Eminence Cardinal Angelo Comastri, Archpriest of the Basilica and President of the Fabbrica di San Pietro, while the introductory essay is by His Eminence Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, President of the Pontifical Council for Culture and the Pontifical Commission for Sacred Archaeology.
