Description of the work
Born in Nettuno in 1908, after studying painting and sculpture, he directed the International Academy of the Nude. He organized around a hundred solo exhibitions in Europe and the Middle East. His works are preserved at the Metropolitan Museum of New York , the Municipal Gallery of Dublin, the Royal Museum of Brussels, the Rijksmuseum of Amsterdam, the Zurich Museum, the Moscow Museum, the Museum of Modern Art of Madrid, the Museo Ciudad Bolivar (Venezuela) and in the most famous collections in Europe and the USA. A member of the AIAM Academic Senate's Roll of Honor, he died on August 13, 1981.
