Leonardo Caposiena - The World in the Circle of Truth

In Caposiena's work, a return to minimalism of form, geometric figures and lines once again become focal points. We find a geometry of intersecting lines and shapes that give rise to an expression of the world. The truth the painter tells us likely derives precisely from the forms that have survived and the rational organization of things. Caposiena's artistic inspiration undoubtedly comes from Russian Constructivism à la Malevich and Kandinsky's abstract art.

Leonardo Caposiena was born in San Severo (FG) on May 10, 1944. After many years as a painter in Italy, he moved to Morocco, specifically to Marrakesh. His work encompasses not only abstract works but also figurative ones. He has participated in several exhibitions in Italy and Morocco.
