Loredana Campa is a painter originally from Galatina who lives and works between Lecce and Bologna. She is primarily a landscape painter, but, starting from a traditional pictorial genre, she has achieved a truly avant-garde language. Loredana Campa's landscapes, in fact, are a highly personal blend of minimalism and rationality, transforming reality into delicate geometric forms in a complex interplay of planes. The perceptible world expands into broad chromatic zones that transcend reality in favor of high expressionist values. The elaborate layering (pictorial but in a restrained and measured manner) pursues structural values.
