Lucia Paguni is a Sicilian painter originally from Messina. Her artistic work focuses primarily on the exaltation of form, especially the female form, a legacy of her experience as an anatomical artist. For this reason, Lucia Paguni's work is grounded in a pronounced plasticity, expressed in compositions with a marked surreal flavor. One of her most recurring themes is the multiplication of gazes in enigmatic portraits that evoke a distinct sense of alienation.
