Maria Grazia Algisi - Air Fire

Maria Grazia Algisi is an artist from Cantello in the province of Varese who trained at the Forlanini Monluè Artistic Group in Milan. Her research has led her to an original artistic production in which the representation of reality comes to life directly before the viewer's eyes. In what are called "Pittosculture," Maria Grazia Algisi creates landscapes and still lifes that emerge from the canvas to directly engage the viewer's space. This is achieved through a highly refined technique in which delicate copper inserts are superimposed on the paint to create a relief. The resulting effect is highly evocative thanks to the perfect integration of color and three-dimensional form.
