Maria Concetta Tricarico is an artist who lives and works in Frossasco, in the province of Turin. Self-taught, she has acquired extensive experience in watercolor. Her painting is aimed at restoring the essentiality of representation in order to rediscover the primordial values ​​of things. For this reason, reality is subjected to a conscious process of simplification with a naïve feel that characterizes all of the artist's work. Formally, this translates into compositions with pure lines that form distinct chromatic zones in which the color is applied in a compact manner. The painter then intervenes with a calligraphic line to highlight details that enliven the representation.
