Mario Puopolo - Landscape

Mario Puopolo is a Roman painter. He began painting at a very young age, following the advice of his first teachers, Mario Barberis and Luigi Polverini. At just 13, he painted a portrait of Pius XI, a painting that was later given to the Pope upon his accession to the papacy. After the war, he joined the "Gruppo Romano," with which he participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions. He received various awards, including the "Michetti Prize," the "Vasto Prize," and the "Garda Prize."
