Maristella Chiarello, known professionally as Mariki, is a painter who lives and works in Trissino. Trained under Giovanni Morbin and Fabio Sandri, who in turn were students of Emilio Vedova, Mariki also dedicated herself to the creation of an informal style. Maristella Chiarello's informal style is characterized by vivid, vibrant color. The key element is the application of brushstrokes, with broad, structural brushstrokes that, layered one upon the other, form complex, multifaceted surfaces.
