A world that comes out, in relief on a flat surface like everyday life, a relief created thanks to the use of a shaped metal sheet , crumpled and welded onto bolts to give three-dimensionality to the work.

Much more than an atlas, much more than a map: the work allows a journey through the vastness of the oceans—colored with acids—and the complexities of the landmass, rendered with acrylic paint. The result is a modern vision of the planet that nevertheless follows in the footsteps of ancient travelers, in search of self and riches in the four corners of the globe. A work for the restless Marco Polos of our time, immersed in the daily grind of commitments and duties, yet immersed in an unstoppable fluid. A fluid that tells stories, that smells of deeds and courage, that gazes toward distant shores and dreamy horizons. The routes of the past, the paths of each of us dreams. Dreams that look to the future, that gaze at the four corners of the planet. You can travel even while sitting. Simply by looking at a painting. Simply by touching with our hands the world we would like. The world of which we are, willingly or unwillingly, masters and protagonists.
