Description of the work
Description of the work
Landscape has always been a central theme in artistic research, both as a setting, as a backdrop, and as a subject itself. The naturalistic depiction of landscape has been a major aspiration for artists of every era. Each historical period has offered its own interpretation of landscape, contributing to the evolution of its depiction: first with an exploration of space, through Brunelleschi's perspective in the early Renaissance; then with atmospheric rendering in the sixteenth century; and finally with the depiction of every single vibration of light on objects in Impressionism.
Bruno Molinaro is the protagonist of a highly refined and technically sophisticated painting style. His inspiration is undoubtedly an impressionistic language, which he nevertheless interprets according to his own personal inclination. The undisputed protagonist in Molinaro's work is color, which, on a substantially two-dimensional surface, constructs objects and measures space. In his landscape paintings, Bruno Molinaro's mastery of blending the entire scene with a precise palette stands out, ensuring a unified atmosphere throughout the work, while space is perceived through a progressive gradation of tones.
Bruno Molinaro is a painter born in Ragogna, in the province of Udine. Trained at the Accademia Albertina under the master Filippo Scoppo, Molinaro has devoted himself primarily to landscape painting and flower arrangements. He has exhibited his work in numerous shows both in Italy (Galleria La Rocca promotrice Belle Arti, Piemonte Artistico, Palazzo Juvarra in Turin, Villa Olmo in Como, Palazzo Barberini in Rome, Cripta San Domenico in Cagliari) and abroad (Athens, Paris, Strasbourg, Munich, Berlin, Wolfsburg, Lisbon, London, Dubrovnik, Krakow, Bonn, Moscow, Malta, Delpi, Warsaw, Luxembourg, Manchester, Marseille, Stockholm).
