Metaphysical art is also distinguished by the ostentatiously illusory nature of its images. Giuseppe Montalbano was an artist originally from Sciacca, born in 1940 and passed away in 2013. His career was marked by an incredible number of exhibitions not only in Italy but also abroad. From Arezzo to Reggio Calabria, from Venice to Varese, from Sanremo to Milan, passing through Piacenza, Bologna, and many other Italian cities. Abroad, he exhibited his works in Madrid, Bilbao, and Barcelona, ​​in Spain, Montevideo, Uruguay, Menton, and France. And then, in his homeland. Numerous exhibitions were held in Palermo, Catania, various municipalities in the province of Agrigento, and especially in Sciacca.
