Premonitory painting painted shortly before a personal event of the artist, involved in a shipwreck at sea, which she herself had heard and painted weeks before the event,
finished a few days before setting off on an OCEAN crossing on a trimaran.
The artist unconsciously and ideally represents herself in the dark night, at sea, among the waves, standing out high on the back of a sea serpent, which saves her from the storm.
