Otello Bartolozzi - Landscape

Landscape has always been a central theme in artistic research, both as a setting, as a backdrop, and as a subject itself. The naturalistic depiction of landscape has been a constant aspiration for painters. For this reason, Bartolozzi's brushstrokes are extremely calligraphic, very subtle, composed of rapid strokes that, while conveying sensory information with immediacy, also ensure a strongly lyrical and narrative interpretation.
